From the 5th of May until the 28th of October there is a very controversial exhibition taking place at Prague´s Lucerna (Stepanska 61, Prague 1). BODIES... THE EXHIBITION, prepared by Roy Glover, an American biologist, is an international exhibition already seen by more then 16 million visitors around Europe and Asia. The exhibition presents real human bodies, treated and stabilized by a special preserving method, which basically means embalming. The bodies, both healthy and ill, are being transformed into preparatives showing the composition of human body. They are placed in various positions.

St. Vit´s Cathedral

St. Vit´s Cathedral is a famous gothic-style Czech cathedral situated at the 3rd court of Prague Castle. It is the most significant religious building in the Czech Republic.
According to myth the Cathedral was founded by princess Libuse, a mythical wife of Premysl the Tiller. It is said that Libuse foresaw the foundation of Prague.

One World - Film Festival

From February 28 to March 8, Jeden svet€œ (One World Festival) is running in Prague.15 regional cities in the Czech Republic are organising it later. The festival will be endorsed by Vaclav Havel, the Minister of Culture Vaclav Jehlicka, the Mayor of Prague Pavel Bem and local authorities in cities and regions; without their support it would be hard pressed to achieve what it does. This festival belongs among members of the Association of Human Rights Festivals spread throughout the world.

In Prague, there are not only historic sights.If you were in Prague longer time, you might want to try something else.Why wouldn´t you visit botanical garden?
The main (municipal) botanical garden is situated in the North of the city, in the town district Troja, next to the ZOO,on the address Nadvorni 134.You can get there by the bus 112 from the Nadrazi Holesovice you get out at the station Botanicka zahrada Troja€œ. Nadrazi­ Holesovice is on the line C of the subway and on the route of tramways 15,12 and 5.
